Groomaroo is a circular groomer that is meant for pet dogs and cats. It helps groom them perfectly, all thanks to the sharp blades that can remove unruly hair in no time. The groomer can be used on animals with any hair length and is very smooth and quiet. This is to ensure that the groomer does not scare away the pet.

Features

  • Blades
  • The blades are very sharp and constructed in such a way that hair do not get snagged in them.

  • Movement
  • This groomer can move in circular motion and also forwards and backwards.

  • Adjustable
  • It can be adjusted according to the length of your pet animal’s hair. In this way you can groom your animal adequately without harming or injuring it.

  • Clipping Compartment
  • This compartment will store the hair that is cut; as a result no mess is created.

  • Quiet
  • The motor of this groomer is very quiet. It will not scare your animal and so you can groom it with ease.

  • Fast
  • Grooming your pet with this device is a quick process.

  • Size
  • Groomaroo is perfectly sized so it will fit in your hand. This makes grooming easier.

Advantages

  • Safe
  • As you can adjust the product, it is safe to use because it will not cut the skin of your pet animal. Hair is not snagged in the blades and so your dog or cat will not feel as if its hair are being pulled.

  • Convenient
  • You can easily groom your pet at home and thus can avoid the cost of going to a professional groomer.

How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Adjust Length
  2. Rotate the dial of this device to adjust the length according to your pet’s hair.

  3. Turn On
  4. Switch on the device.

  5. Use
  6. Run the device over your pet in a massaging motion. You can go round in circles or back and forth. The sharp, circular blade will cut the hair and they will collect in the compartment.

  7. Discard Hair
  8. Discard the hair from the compartment once you are done grooming your pet.

Negative Points

  • Blades
  • With regular use over a long period of time, the blades can become blunt. When this happens, it will be difficult to groom your pet dog or cat.

  • Controlling Your Pet
  • Although this device is very quiet, your pet may not stay still enough to let you groom it. Some animals are extremely jumpy and may want to get away when you try to groom them.

Concerns

  • Accidental Injury
  • As this product has blades, be careful while using it lest you injure yourself.

  • Keep Away From Children
  • This product, just like any other sharp object, should be kept out of reach of children. Its circular design provides a great deal of safety but still grooming should only be done by adults.

  • Time
  • Groomaroo can groom your pet quickly but if you really need to save time, it is best to take your pet to a professional groomer. This device can work fast but still if your animal has long hair and is a large animal, you will need some time to groom it.

Annette | Buckley, WA | 28 Jan 2018

In all the reviews I read, it did not work for anyone. I do not even know how they get away with selling this. I am returning mine back to petsmart.

Waste of Money

Tammy | Phillipsburg, NJ | 27 Jan 2018

I wish I had read the reviews before I bought it. I would give it 0 stars if I could. It didn't work on my Maltese. After several minutes of use, I got less than maybe a q-tip size piece of fur off her and she was really in need of a grooming. Also the blades tugged on her hair and scared her. It didn't work on my cat either. Hoping I can get my $20 back. Wish one of the news stations would do a review on this on TV and alert the public to this scam.

Worhless

Elaine | Westminster, CA | 12 Nov 2017

Was really excited when I saw this in the store. Took it home, put the batteries in and then tried it on 2 of my 3 dogs. Not sure how this thing ever made it into store shelves. I found it to be absolutely worthless. I tried it in multiple directions as well in a circular, massage-like motion and nothing. It didn't cut either dogs for and to be quite honest, I even tried on a section of my own hair and nothing. Great idea in theory but it did not work at all!

Disappointed | Kenneth City, FL | 29 Sep 2017

This product barely deserves a one. Purchased at Rite Aide. The checker was going to get one as well. Waist of money. I thought maybe I was using it wrong. It does no more than a dog brush would do. Actually a pet brush does more. Very disappointed that the company Spark actually endorses this product. Back to the drawing board and you might have something.
