Category: As Seen on TV

Shittens are like wet wipes, but unlike regular wet wipes, you can wear them as mittens. This makes them more effective if you need to wipe your own bottom or someone else’s; plus, there’s less risk of getting dirt on your hands. You’re also able to remove them from your hands and dispose of them without soiling your fingers or palms. Each package of Shittens contains 20 individual wipes.

Uses

  1. Wiping Babies' Bottoms
  2. When you wipe your baby's bottom with Shittens during a diaper change, there is less of a chance of fecal contamination than there would be with another type of wipe.

  3. Wiping Kids' Bottoms
  4. Occasionally, kids lose control of their bowels, especially when they're sick. Luckily, you can use Shittens to effectively wipe their bottoms, too.

  5. Cleaning Up Adult Emergencies
  6. Even adults, especially seniors, can have poop-related accidents. You can use Shittens to wipe your own bottom without getting anything on your hands.

  7. Soaking Up Sweat
  8. If you've become sweaty after a workout or a few hours of physical labor, and you don't have time to shower, you can use Shittens to wipe yourself down.

  9. Cleaning Up Dirt
  10. If you spill food on yourself or get dog poop on your shoe, or have some other sort of messy accident, Shittens will make short work of the mess created.

How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Put On A Shittens
  2. Take a Shittens out of the package and put it on whichever hand you choose, just like a mitten.

  3. Wipe
  4. Use the Shittens to wipe up whatever you need to wipe up.

  5. Remove Shittens
  6. You can remove a dirty Shittens without getting dirt on your hands. First, make a fist, and then pull on the bottom edge of the wipe located on the back of your hand. Pull this edge up and over your hand to create a sort of ball.

  7. Dispose
  8. Throw your newly formed ball in the trash immediately.

Positive Points

  • White
  • Since the Shittens are white, if you really need to, you can easily check and see if you've removed the dirt you want to remove or not.

Negative Points

  • Can't Wash And Reuse
  • If you're trying to save money, you may want to wash and reuse wipes, as you would with cloth diapers. However, you cannot, as each Shittens is made for a one-time use only.

How it's Different from Competitors

Standard wet wipes that come in a rectangular or square shape are hard to hang onto. It's easy for your hand to slip, which could expose it to all kinds of dirt, including feces. You also may get dirt on your hands when you remove the wipe from whatever you're wiping in order to dispose of it. On the other hand, the mitten shape of the Shittens make it unlikely that you'll get dirt on your hands while using them to wipe anything. Plus, you can even throw them out without putting your hands in any dirt.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Not Toilet Paper Replacement
  2. Shittens are not meant to replace regular toilet paper. The company recommends that you follow a "Dry, Wet, Dry" method, which means you must use toilet paper first, followed by a Shittens, then toilet paper again.

Warnings

  • Possible Allergic Reactions
  • Shittens contain some of the same ingredients as standard bathroom wipes. If you've had allergic reactions to those, you should consult your doctor before using Shittens.
